Universidad de Talca

The University of Talca was founded in 1981 and is rated by recent rankings and measurements as the best state university of regions. Since its beginnings, it has considered research and its impact on the development of technology as one of its strategic lines.

It has 10 technology centers: bioinformatics and molecular simulation, geomatics, research and transfer in irrigation and agroclimatology, genetic improvement and plant phenomena, pomaceous, engineering systems, technological center of vines and wine, technological center of soils and crops, poplar technology center and technological center of environmental hydrology.

FCR-CSB works with the Faculty of Chemistry in industrial nanotechnology and with the technology centre for applied poplar genetics.
