Ties with Fraunhofer ISE

With a staff of more than 1,200 people, Fraunhofer ISE is Europe’s main center for solar energy research. The institute’s work ranges from research on the scientific and technological basis for solar energy applications, and the development and production of technology and prototypes, to the construction of demonstration systems.

Due to its high radiation levels and its special geographic conditions, Chile is an ideal place for many of the technologies that have been developed by Fraunhofer ISE or are currently under investigation. FCR-CSET adapts these technologies and optimizes them for the conditions in Chile..
